We work with more than 50 artisans. Every bowl or tea pot is the product of a lifetime of craftsmanship, from the delicate mixing of natural mineral glazes, to the process of molding the clay by hand in a pottery wheel, to the precise control of temperature and atmosphere during kiln firing. During firing, the temperature and atmosphere of the kiln constantly fluctuates, which results in an extremely low success rate. The formation of unique patterns is completely uncontrollable, and even the most skilled craftsman cannot reproduce exactly the same piece. In order to deliver the perfect work of art, we maintain strict quality control. As a result, our success rate is strictly less than 0.5%!
